  • Dr. Amit Kumar Sharma, MacWillimas type identities for some weight enumerators and their applications [PhD thesis defended on Oct. 14, 2016 at IIT Delhi]. I am his primary advisor; myself and Amit wrote 10 papers which form his complete thesis.
  • Dr. Saroj Rani, Constacyclic codes [PhD thesis defended on Dec. 06, 2016 at IIT Delhi].
  • Dr. Taranjot Kaur, Additive codes [PhD thesis defended on Aug. 02, 2017 at IIT Delhi].
  • Dr. Rahul Gangopadhyay, Rectilinear Crossing Number of Uniform Hypergraphs [PhD thesis defended on August 20, 2020 at IIIT Delhi]. His Primary advisor is Dr. Saswata Shannigrahi, Associate Professor, Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, St. Petersburg State University, Saint Petersburg, Russia.
  • Dr. Tania Sidana, Constacyclic codes over finite commutative chain rings [PhD thesis defended on Nov. 28, 2020 at IIIT-Delhi].

Funded Projects:
  • Indo-Russian project titled "Classical and Quantum Error-Correcting Codes and Mathematics over Finite Fields for Smart Telecommunications" has been approved for funding by DST, India and RSF, Russia (Indian PI: Anuradha Sharma and Russian PI: Gleb Koshevoy, IITP, Moscow, Russia).
  • Received funding for the project titled "Development of efficient homomorphic secret sharing schemes for applications in public health" by IHUB-Anubhuti-IIITD Foundation (TIH). (PI: Anuradha Sharma, Co-PI: Vaneet Aggarwal, Professor, School of Industrial Engineering, Purdue University)
  • Received funding for a project titled "Development of efficient blockchain protocols for applications in public health" by IHUB-Anubhuti-IIITD Foundation (TIH). (Co-PI: Anuradha Sharma, PI: Vaneet Aggarwal, Professor, School of Industrial Engineering, Purdue University).
  • Completed a project entitled "Repeated-root constacyclic codes over finite commutative chain rings and over non-principal ideal rings $\mathbb{Z}_{p^s}[u]/\langle u^e \rangle$" under Extra mural Research (EMR) funding scheme of DST-SERB (PI: Anuradha Sharma).
  • Completed a project entitled "Multi-twisted codes over various finite commutative rings and their generalizations" under Mathematics Research Impact Centric Support (Matrics) scheme of DST-SERB (PI: Anuradha Sharma).
  • I am also member of the team of faculty members from IIIT-Delhi, whose proposal to create a Technology Innovation Hub (TIH) at IIIT-Delhi is accepted by DST for a funding of around 100 Crores for 5 years. I am the only Mathematician in this team. My role is design efficient block chains and homomorphic secret sharing schemes for ensuring the privacy and security of data used in different application domains, e.g. healthcare, education, etc.
  • Completed a project entitled "A study of quantum error-correcting codes" under SERC Fast Track scheme for young scientists (PI: Anuradha Sharma).

  • Organized an AIS/IST on "Gr�bner Bases and their Applications" at IIIT-Delhi during Dec. 11-23, 2017 (Co-organizer: Prof. J. K. Verma, Department of Mathematics, IIT Bombay).
  • Co-convener of Chandigarh Symposium in Mathematics during February 29, 2008 to March 1, 2008.
  • Tutor in Mathematics Training & Talent Search programme O level (sponsored by NBHM) organised by the Department of Mathematics, Panjab University, Chandigarh, during 29th May-25th June 2005.
